This is a web design I am currently working on for a client. The objective was to create a simple, yet fun layout for a skateboarding film website. The client is pretty happy with the layout here, but would like a few minor changes.

not fancy with pink, but that's a touch..twist the lay out a bit and play with it..plain white should be fun not bored..good luck!

This is a good design :D
A little bit overused was the wood background but apart from that, under "Video" I think that you should have a Grayscale Preview image of the video as the first scene.
Just so that the Color-scheme is consistent throughout the entire page.

I really appreciate the your comment and critique. But for the black and white previews, the client wanted it to be in color for some reason. I definitely would have agreed with you though.

and again thanks. i also might change the background. i thought it seemed a little boring and overused myself.

Your very welcome, I am glad that I could help, I have only worked with a couple of clients before, and I find it best to have two versions or multiple versions of the same website and see which one they like best. In this case I would have had two working copies of the website hosted locally for quick editing, one with the grayscale preview and the other with a normal color video.

As for the background, what do you plan on using? I would be very interested to know once you have decided.
